Our Principal

Dear Widener School Community,

My name is Theresa Harrington, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new principal of The Widener Memorial School. I bring with me 30 years of dedicated experience within the School District of Philadelphia, with 15 of those years spent in various administrative roles.

I am passionate about fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive. My goal is to create a space where students feel safe, valued, and empowered to explore their interests and reach their full potential. I believe that collaboration is key to our success, and I look forward to working closely with teachers, staff, parents, and the community to ensure our students receive the best education possible. Together, we can inspire curiosity, encourage creativity, and promote a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.

As we embark on this journey together, I am eager to hear your ideas, share your experiences, and celebrate the achievements of our students. Thank you for your warm welcome, and I am excited to be part of the Widener Memorial School family!
